Solved 7Zip not playing ball.

Hi Folks,
My friends pc runs Win7 Pro, when a file is right clicked, select 7Zip > compress and email he gets a message 'there is no mail program etc' he has latest version of Win Live Mail & it's set as default.
Its set in FF options.

I think that feature of 7z doesn't work. I've tried the same, I have outlook as my default mail app and it says:

The compress and email button shows the same error message.

7Zip works perfectly on my pc.

Probably a setting then You could compare your email & 7zip settings with your friends PC.

It's me who looks after both pc's, only difference is mine is Home Prem, friend's is Pro.

Are they both particularly 32 or 64 bit?

My pc is 32bit, friends is 64bit with 7Zip 64bit installed.

Have you tried the version on Derek's link?

I did (I'm on 64 bit too) and the 9.25 alpha seems to work. No idea why the 64 bit 9.20 version isn't working
