9 changes from Win 7 7068 to 7077

yes Grim I asked that same thing earlier..the file is almost 200mb smaller..which to me says that there were (A) files removed (B) files compressed (C) Drivers updated and cut down. Id love to know for sure though.

As far as I can tell running 7077, I have run into absolutely no problems. no more WEI errors, no more freezing, absolutely no problem upgrading from 7068 (it was flawless) and I did not have to do any tweaks to make the Login Picture trick work. It is as if to me, they have come to a point where I think we are ready for go.

Is that a recovery partition for purposes of making a good install, or do you mean the normal recovery partition after you install the OS and you set a recovery point?

I thought you can create a recovery file in drive c: itself, or D: or any drive for that matter?

I am still use 7000 version. it's the most stablize version which I think.

The recovery partition if for when you need to do a repair install and has nothing to do with the standard system recovery. This option only shows itself when you delete the partition & re activate instead of just formatting.

it was a silly sarcastic joke The option you get when you right click on a music folder to shop for music online has been there for quite a while now

Hmm? That's odd, did you do a clean install or upgrade? In my upgrade from 7068 to 7077, I still have the shuffle option.

No, you're not. same problem here, just need to go to the wallpaper panel and check more wallpapers or select your old theme, if you had saved it of course.

I liked that too. They are taking all the fun out. Shuffling the background, the Dreamscenes...

I have two Windows 7 boxes, my primary is running 7057 and my secondary is running 7077 that was upgraded from 7000. The desktop background shuffle option still exists.

I echo the dismay with the lack of Dreamscenes though... I know many didn't like it and it was a hog on some machines. Optionally I imagine that we can use Deskscapes whenever it works (maybe it does but it wouldn't on my upgraded 7077 box or the version I installed was too old.)
