Sorry took os long to reply. Power went out just got restored. Everest home. |MG| EVEREST Free Edition 2.20 Download Do you still have your old card? My thinking is I would change out the cards and see if the problem still presists, if not then you may have recieved a bad card. It is not unknown. As I have had it happen 3 times to me 1XFX,1BFG and 1Evga card. My thinking would be to uninstall the current driver as explained previously, install the driver you had with your old card and install your old card to see if your system is working properly. If so then just change out the cards and see if everything is ok. If so then it is the driver, if it happens again then it maybe your card.

Hey, you got the same card I do!

Anyways, your monitor will have the model number ON it. So just look around on the physical monitor until you find it, then search for that and get the drivers from the manufacturers site.

Second, what kind of plug does the monitor have? A DVI, or VGA? If VGA, you have to use a VGA to DVI converter. If so, do you have another one you can try? I know those can mess with it as well.

Also, how old is your monitor? I had an older monitor that WOULD NOT work with my card. The cord was really thick, and it would tear to the point you could not see anything. A newer monitor ended up working perfectly. It also had a thinner cord.

Check all that and get back to us please.

Ok is thie a model # on it? Is it a flat screen and how big is it? Here is the AOC site. AOC Europe TFT LCD Monitors and TV With a little more information on it possibly can find the driver. Now that I know you had an onboard card you need to go inot the bios and disable that device.
Also I have a doctors app. here shortly so I'll only be able to help for about another half hour then I'll check back. Fabe

Do this real quick. Try switching your monitor cable to your onboard and see if the problem is still their. Also this is the problem with OEM machines they make it hard to upgrade and hard to find out your product and usually have them made just for them so you have to go to them for support$$. isn't their a sticker somewhere on the LCD that gives the #? Every other LCD has it written clearly on the front.

Ok. Make sure it is disabled in your bios, but it would seem that isn't going to help but can't hurt. Then lets try uinstalling the 195XX driver and let windows install the 192.62 driver. Uninstall using Ccleaner>tools find the nvida driver and uninstall. then boot in to safe mode and use driver sweeper. reboot and let windows install the driver for the card.It should install the 192.62. And see what happens.CCleaner download CCleaner - Download I'll have to check back got to go. Also getting short on ideas. Fabe

That sounds like a bad driver. Try rolling back your video driver.
