A disk error has accoured

ok it started a few days ago when my PC was badly infected with viruses so i decided it needed a factory reset, so the process went well until my laptop overheaded and shut down between the process at first it came up with the message 'error loading operating system' the two days ago it came up with 'a disk error has accoured, press Ctrl-Alt-Del to restart' so i did and the laptop will restart and will come up to the same message. I was told that accesing the BIOS setting will fix the problem but I need the password to acces it. Please help whoever hlps me ind a solution you will forever have my thanks.
oh i Forgot my system infos....

Operating System : Windows 7
Laptop Type: HP Touchsmart tx2 Notebook PC
BIOS version: F.22

I have a recovery CD but it doesnt detect my system (Burt it form the net)
I also have win 7 CD (Which is also burnt)

oh and on another note sometimes i get the blue scren of death which says 'Fatal system error c00021a'

finally if i need to update BIOS or anything like that can someone put a step by step guide to do it Thanks
