i read this post here
How to Setup Media Center Movie Library in Windows 7

and i wanted to know if it's a good program has anyone used it ?

i want to know if there is a program for music as well ?

and does anyone know if the MC7 can read *.sub ... beacuse i can't see them ... maybe it has to do with my codecs? ( i downloaded the shark codec pack from here ... )

i hope anyone can help me

MC7 can not utilize soft-subtitles files natively. If you install and configure Welcome to the Media Control Plugin Site along w/ FFDShow-Tryout you can enable sub but you also lose Media Foundation so it is a trade-off.

Edit: I should add that 1- I do not use the Media Control plug-in, it is a great tool but the trade-offs were not worth it for me. 2- If you decide to try it, read the documentation and install instructions carefully, each step is important. On my system I have Media Center launch MPC-HC if subtitles files are found.
