Thanks everyone .. I'm just glad to jog those who need it.. quite often guys get so busy working/ ladies too.. they almost forget the Special Day for their Moms or wives.. so I wanted to remind them a little early.

Well as someone said we've had our Mothers Day here in March but I lost mine in the 70's and my Dad in the early 80's but I still have a Mother-in-law, shes well into her 80's.

I lost my mom three years ago, on Dec 26th. She made it through Christmas. That was a big loss and I miss her. I am blessed to still have my dad who will be 90 in June.

Mae Lyne's mom passed six years ago and her dad over 20 years ago.

Carl.. It's so sad on holidays to see those empyt chairs.. I still miss mine too..the best I can do now is to honor her by living what she taught me.. as a child. I'll stand with all the other Mothers at church tomorrow as they recognize us.

As we lost my father last Feb, I dont know what may be a treat to my just widow mother for this day ... I thought... and finally fetch some white flowers and garlands .... put those on my fathers picture ... my mother and me ....

Arc, I am sorry for your loss. The loss of a parent is a tough loss. It is the final close of a chapter in our lives.

Sorry to hear that about your father Arc....I'm sure your mother loved the idea of the flowers and garlands.

As our Mother's Day here in the USA is drawing to a close, I'd like to send my best to all the mothers here in the forum. I had to settle for talking to my two grandmothers (81 and 89 years old) and my mother on the phone today, as I had to work.
