HI, I'm new to the forum. When I receive mail in WLM, if I open it right away. fine...no problem. If I leave a message unopened then shut down and reboot I can't open the message. I get the error message... "A problem occurred while trying to open this message. A problem occurred. Please try again." Also I can't delete the message, but I can drag it into the deleted folder. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing WLM but no joy in mudville.

Any help will be appreciated.

Go to uninstall software and select uninstall Windows Live Essentials. You will be given the option to uninstall it or repair it. Select "Repair". It takes few minutes. After completion check back you messenger again.

Thanks for the help PCTech...I've tried that already. Could it be a problem with user account files when re-booting?

After you rebooted did you log into WLM again?
