A program to monitors other software on disk usage?

exactly as title, curious as to if there is a software that allows me to monitor disk usage?

say for example, using firefox browsing internet, or during encoding a video with movie maker or playing games, I want to see the reads/writes made by those softwares in both random and sequential read/writes on targeted disk.

Some tools within Hiren's BootCD may help you with what you want.

Two tools to note are Process Monitor and Process Explorer. For Process Explorer you can click on the top right graph for the hard drive and it will display much more detailed information about read/write.
