A Why & How come - FIREFOX different on a W7Ultimate vs W7Pro

I think it might be a beta version 32 bit, but I can't seem to get a "real" version; updates still seem to be the 'same' look, but its different that firefox on win 7 pro.
As an aside, end of support for firefox over XP!! sniff.

When your in Firfox, go to the top of the page and tick on Help

On a 4 gig machine - I think I should pas on the 64 bit version.

Ahh, yeah, I gotcha. I'm actually babysitting 4 latops right now. 1 old Dell XP, 4 gb ( survived a coffee spill), this Dell, Intel I3, 8gb win7 pro (to replace a desktop that died), a Dell Latitude Intel I3 8gb, win 7 pro (to cover for that XP that wasn't supposed to survive), and the 'inherited' Lenovo centrino, 4gb win 7 Ultimate..
So, I'll look into that for the 8 GB I3 machines. Thanks..Enjoy the day..

EDIT - OK quick try on Latitude win 7 pro 64bit, Firefox 64 bit.. well, slow, pages didn't load, and Network connection went away. NOT Saying, just saying - 32 bit seems 'faster' for me. Thanks anyway...

You have more problems than FireFox 64. I know of no way it can shut down your internet or break your network.

Sometimes strange things do happen sometimes.

Q). How many versions of Firefox are installed on any one machine? If 32bit and 64bit versions are installed they will share the same profile and will not work correctly.

If upgrading from 32bit to 64bit FF it would be best to backup bookmarks and extensions before doing a full removal of firefox including leftovers. Then reboot and install the version you need.

Personally I use 32bit FF Portable, 32bit Palemoon Portable and Cyberfox 64bit Installed.

You can backup and restore bookmarks and extensions and other profile elements using FEBE.
