At the shop where you bought it, did you try the one that you bought, or was it a demo model that you saw running? Unfortunately the sites link to the manual isn't woking http://www.a4tech.com/ennew/driver/Manual/26, so I can't check settings options for you.
If it was a demo model that you saw, I'd sugest either checking the manual for resolution or quality settings, or, asking the store what settings they use.

Would like to know your power supply rating also is this the driver your using for your card? 196.21http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_64bit_196.21_whql.html. Another thing have you tried it in other usb slots? This could be the problem under drivers for your board USB 2.0 controller the only driver they offer is for a 32 bit system. So in device manager under usb devices are their any yellow triangles? I know you have said all your drivers are up to date so I'm guessing win 7 installed the drivers for your USB devices. So could you go to device manager and copy and paste a screen shot of USB devices expanded. If their is no problem we can try and force the install from device manager. I really think it maybe under powered it's a tough one to figure out.Your driver page BIOSTAR :: MCP6P M2+ :: Driver And that is your chipset not your graphics card you have listed the board has a nforce 6150/430 BIOSTAR :: MCP6P M2+ :: Specification Graphics is a 6150 onboard up to 512 mb shared memory, plus your trying to run a 64 bit OS with 1gb of memory which is not recommended need 2gb so between the fact that your running a very weak graphics card and not enough memory and not knowing your power supply I'd guess your system is straining to run a 64 bit system and thus causing trouble powering up and using the web cam. Nvidia doesn't support your chipset but I'd try using the latest Nforce drivers anyway NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.49 WHQL A lot of information and not in the best way written but I'm in a lot of pain right now and didn't want to leave you hangin.Please anyone else feel free to correct or help Fabe

Hi

If you haven tried yet, uninstall your current drivers, and re install the XP drivers under XP compatibility ;)

what kind of drivers you talking about? the drivers for my mother board? btw i just use on-board video card. i don't have enough money yet to upgrade my system xD

@thefabe.

sir. i think that's the problem too. i don't support the minimum requirement for 64-bit windows 7 ultimate, arg. i'm just using the on-board nforce 6150/430 video card. hmm. yes i tried it on the other usb socket. uhm here's a screen shot on my device manager..

Sorry we couldn't figure it out. If you could get your hands on a 2gb stick of ram you could possibly see if that has anything to do with it. Tons of views on this thread not many answers so, don't really know where to go from here. Fabe Oh and please you don't have to refer to me as sir even though it is very polite.
