Hi,

I ran a system health report today on my Dell Latitude E6520 laptop and received the following error in the log:

tcsd_win32.exeDisplay Name:NTRU TSS v1.2.1.36 TCSExit Code:1068Service Name:tcsd_win32.exePath:"C:\Program Files (x86)\NTRU Cryptosystems\NTRU TCG Software Stack\bin\tcsd_win32.exe"Service Code:0Started:FalseState:Stopped

I google searched and found this description below:
This software is a component of our TSS (TCG Software Stack) product which interfaces with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security chip.

On my laptop, I noticed this service is disabled

I would like any advice on if this is needed and if so, how to correct the error.

Additional Info.:
Dell Latitude e6520
Win 7 64-bit sp1
No thumb sensor
*error generated while connected to work client's network

Thanks,

Rick

Does the laptop work ok on the network? I mean are you able to get online, send email etc? If so, i wouldnt worry about it too much.

Also have a pretty bad speaker setup which is a klipsch promedia 5.1 surround speaker setup with huge subwoofer and lg blu ray player/writer. Also a hp officejet pro 8600 plus wireless all in one and a logitech s7500 webcam.
Thank you for the response. The computer is working fine overall I was just at a point where I was looking to make sure it was running in peak shape.

I wonder if this is being disabled or triggered when I join the network. I do agree it's not something right now that I should be too worried about.

Like i said before; if its not affecting your being able to get online and send emails and do stuff on the web; I wouldnt worry about it too much. As long as its not giving you any blue screen errors etc. you should be good for now(someone correct me if wrong please).
