Ok, I am getting a new comp this week and I plan on ghosting my laptop hard drive to the new one, now last time I removed this hard drive and inserted it into another laptop I got a BSOD and went through this long process of trying to solve it. I want to avoid that this time so that I can use a usb casing to boot off it, and then just ghost it over to the desktop HD that I'll be purchasing this week... The catch is, I have to prep in advance because I'll be losing access to the laptop tomorrow night, leaving me with just the HD. So I need to know what I need to uninstall to avoid BSODs when I go to do this... (Motherboard drivers I imagine, but what else)
I've included a screen shot of my system devices, I need the fullest list possible.

Well, I have hope at least, The hard drive that was in this computer before it was lent to me was just popped into a nettop and it booted without a single bsod! Also, I can borrow this one for longer now that I popped his HD into his nettop for him... So now I have until my tax return gets to me (7-10 days) to pretty much figure everything I need to do to prep this, but I may just be able to ghost it over! Although I did wanna ask, are desktop and laptop sata's the same size? (3.5" vs 2.5" I suppose) I know the old IDE are not but I'm unsure on this... The connections look similar, but if they are I may not even have to ghost... Any thoughts?

Also at this point this may be in the wrong section (although I am still trying to prevent any potential BSODs...)

EDIT: I just found out that apparently the sata connections are the same on desktop and laptop HDs so now I just need to make sure I won't be receiving any bsods when I stick it in...
