I'm pretty sure I'm in the wrong category :o but I have a question.
In the screen shot, what is the pqservice? And do I have to have that?
Also, see in the New Volume, that little sliver? It says its empty, and if I delete
it, after a few days it's back. Is that strange?

I have several system images that have the pqservice, but I am wondering what it does exactly.

Regarding, the X partition, I suspect that's because of System Restore.
You can turn off System Restore for that partition only, if desired.
