Access is denied error as administrator(cant install anything)

Hi everyone,

This is my first post so please excuse if this post is in the wrong section... Ok so i am he one and only admin on my system i have windows 7 64 bit and when i try to install anything i get access is denied I've tried changing permission's on the file's and that didn't work, Also tried running as administrator still didn't work I've been struggling with this for the last few days and i have updates piling up. and this is also effecting my final year in college by needing to download some programs for it... any help is appreciated and i hope we can solve this problem,

The "real" Administrator account in Win7 is hidden from view. You have to "unhide" it in order to login as the real Administrator.

When you go to install anything, you should right-click on the setup file and choose "Run as Administrator". That will temporarily give you elevated rights to install stuff.

If that does not work, there are other problems.
