So we got the new laptop with a fresh copy of Windows 7 64bit. Additionally, a copy of Wilcom Decostudio with Corel Draw X4. It wont install...it keeps throwing up a message of ACCESS IS DENIED, file /DRAW/, Feature: wilcom Decostudio, when it starts to install the Corel program.
This has stumped Corel and Wilcom.
Here is what we have done so far.
- Taken ownership of directories in the program files (X86) path
- Lowered the UAC to nothing
- Ensure it was part of an admin account.- I can create and add files to the program file path with no issue, manually.
- Tried it on my Vista machine and it installed fine
None of these have worked, so I am looking for more options. This is a fresh install of the software that came with the Lenovo laptop from IBM in the past week.
Thank all in advance
