Accesschk sysinternal will not open

Hello! In a recent homework assignment, I was to use a privately owned USB live acquisition program. The program was not able to run sysinternals from Microsoft, and so we had to download them ourselves. I found the Sysinternals Suite from the Microsoft website, downloaded it and extracted (via 7Zip) to the sysin file in the software, and some of the files will not allow me to open their command prompts, including accesschk.

I have downloaded a separate accesschk by itself to my desktop to work with, to try to figure out what the issue is, but I cannot do so. Every time I open it, the command prompt flashes briefly and then disappears, when other sysinternal tools will first ask me to click on some disclaimer and then open their own command prompts. With the accesschk, I can see briefly that the information for all the options runs and then the prompt closes immediately.

So I opened an admin command prompt and attempted to run the accesschk, but I got nowhere. I get the response that it is not recognized as an internal or external command blah blah blah. Simply put, I downloaded it, it shows up, it is installed, but it will not run.

Can anyone help me figure out what the issue is?

The issue is that I have re-downloaded three times. I go to the Windows page for Accesschk and download, and I even re-installed the entire Sysinternals Suite, replacing the entire folder. Is it possible that I could have downloaded a corrupted file three times in a row?

Well..now you have me thinking you have some bad files .. how bout running a SFC ? http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html .. Run it 3 times.. to make sure all your files are in order..
