Accidental logging out

I know that I shouldn't, but I do, accidentally log out of (or log off from) Firefox by clicking on the top right cross, usually intending to click on minimise.
Is there any way of setting up a warning question for myself saying e.g. 'Are you sure you want to log out'? Or 'Slow down and think what you are doing, for Gawd's sake'
Thanks.

Um, actually, there may be ;)

Open Firefox> Tools> Options> Tabs> Check next to Warn me when closing multiple tabs

Now, in url bar type about:config> Enter> Accept warning by clicking on I'll be careful I promise

In the Search box at top type warnon> Change all the listings to True if they are set to False

In the Search box at top type quit> Change all the True/False listings to True if they are set to False

This will only warn on closing multiple tabs.

You might also configure restoring previous sessions

Restore previous session - Configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs and windows | How to | Firefox Help

Or try a session manager addon
