Solved Accidentally deleted Atheros Driver Installation, what do I do?

I also did the same thing on my Acer Aspire D255, I don't have a network driver, nor ethernet driver. I remember my ethernet driver being Atheros, the network driver not sure. The hard drive that originally went to it is locked for some reason. asking for the Sata Port 0 Unlock Key?...Not really sure but I wish I could unlock it. Pls Help if you can

Hi there Yes the Wireless LAN,ATHEROS .. Either for 32/64 Bit Depending what Version you have .. They are both on the same page

Hi there ... Go to start type Msinfo32 . That should give you your Model Number .. Or you could do a restore

So I accidentally deleted Atheros Driver Installation and so my laptop does not have wifi, so I can't download this software again. I have no idea how to connect to wifi again. What do I do?

glad you got the problem solved - however I'm a bit curious to note that if you didn't have internet access how did you download the software - unless you did it by a mobile phone !!!!

You can usually download software from a site on to ANY computer -- you don't have to have the specific model ( although sometimes with these wretched 1-click installs they make it almost impossible to download the software and install later on another machine).

Hi everyone!

I have a toshiba laptop that is running windows 7.
I accidentally uninstalled the atheros driver which I now know I need to connect wirelessly to the internet.
So I'm now stuck as I can't get internet access to reinstall the driver.
I read some similar forums and so tried to follow advice by restoring the system to an earlier point in time.
That didn't work.
PLEASE HELP!
