Last week before I came to Korea, I put my laptop in one of my bags thinking it is the carry on one I have. I didn't notice that it was not in there until I went through TSA. Now after a few days, I finally found it in one of my bags and luckily, there was no damage on the outside of the laptop. Do you guys think that it is fine in the inside since the outside is not damaged too, or will I have to turn it on and find out? I will have to get an adapter for the outlet since it is a different shape, but the AC adapter supports 100-240V.

Are you kidding? You might as well paint a target on it. It's better to just pack things with the assumption that it will be handled by a grumpy 500 pound drunken gorilla on 'roids with an attitude problem.
