Acer Aspire 5250 running home premium desktop will not display.

When I start up my Acer Aspire 5250, I am at the starting windows stage for several minutes than when it loads it enters my profile which has taken up to 7 minutes, but when I enter the desktop is completely blank, except for my cursor. all I can see is my cursor. I can enter the BIOS menu fine so I am stumped. If anyone has this issue or knows how they solved it please let me know.

You can work through the steps in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start to check for infection, try repairing the boot and System files, to see if you can get into Safe Mode or normal boot, then continue until its fixed with the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

But if you have the Acer factory install then that is the worst install of Win7 one can have to begin with. So what I would do is Clean Reinstall Windows 7 following everything that works best in Win7 in tens of thousands of installs we've directly helped with here, and which has been used by over a million consumers without a single complaint.
