i just purchased an acer aspire 8730g with built-in bluetooth adaptor, but after installing windows 7 ultimate x64 it is no longer detected for some reason.
it worked just fine before the reformat and installation, so i dunno what is going on here.
i've tried to install the bluetooth drivers from the acer website to no avail. i keep getting an error stating that no bluetooth device is attached, but my bluetooth usb dongle works just fine. i know i could use the dongle but that would defeat the purpose of having it built in.
this is what i would like to know:
1) why isn't the built in adaptor being recognized
2) where can i find a schematic for the build of my laptop to disconnect and reconnect the dongle manually
3) do i have any other options in terms of how to fix this problem, other than using my usb dongle
