Acer Bloatware

If and when I get my 64bit version of W7 installed should I install the 64bit Vista version of the Acer eSoftware for it? I take it that it's should work well enough for windows 7?

I wouldn't, since it will bring more bloatware than anything else. I would try to get drivers for the Video & audio and that is it. If it doesn't have them, then go to each manufacturer and get the drivers there.

Video... ATI or Nvidio

Audio... Realtek or ???

If they have done any Bios update, grab them but do them only if you are comfortable touching the Bios... many tears and Kleenex will you waste if you don't know how

I won't be touching the bios.

But Acer has some good backup software and other stuff that I like. So I'll probably still be using it.

Besides the eAudio doesn't work...only backup is good...
