Hello everyone,

First of all thanks in advance for reading and hopefully helping me solve this problem.

For a while now I've been getting BSOD's. I had different ones at a certain moment. So 2 days ago I did a clean install of Windows 7. Well since then I've had 1 random restart while I was just talking on mIRC. Another time my PC just froze. And the 3rd time I had a BSOD saying SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. Before I did a clean install I also had that BSOD once every day/2 days.

Today I installed this program Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files.
I inspected the error but I've got no clue what everything means.

I've attached a picture of the BSOD and from the blue screen view.

Some PC info:

I've got an Acer Aspire M5811
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz
Running on Windows 7 64bit
Video card : NVIDIA GeForce GT320
And I've got 6 gigs of memory

I hope you guys can help me!

Thanks,

Thomas

Hello iGreek, welcome to SF!

Please follow the BSOD posting instructions: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

We need that in order to help....:)

I'm sorry I didn't do that.

I attached it.

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ?
x64
- the original installed OS on the system? Yes
- an OEM or full retail version? OEM
- What is the age of system (hardware)?
1.5 years I think.
- What is the age of OS installation? I reinstalled it 2 days ago.

I hope this is what you needed!

I didn't run it at night. But I did run it untill it completed 7 passes. It took like 7:30 hours.

I'll do the next steps you told me to do. But it may take a while because I've to work today. Thanks for helping me so far!

Hey,

I'm doing the CPU stress test at the moment but I'm wondering what temperature is defined "too hot" .

You can see the CPU I've got. Right now the temperature of core 1 is 73-74 celcius. and the other 3 cores are 70-71. Is this too hot?

I'm also unsure if the program I'm using to see the CPU temperature is 100% accurate.
The software is called " CPU Thermometer " .

Sorry for double posting.

I did the 2 stress tests and there were no errors. Although I didn't know how long I should run Furmark.. After 30 minutes and no artifacts and a stable temperature of 86C I closed it. I noticed that my FPS was extremely low. 3-5 fps.

Anyways I also did the 3rd thing and there were no errors.

So I guess my problem is not hardware related(?) unless I did something wrong or there are even more steps to test my hardware. Please let me know!

I haven't had a BSoD since. But I just had a random restart again. Are the reasons of a random restart also visible in a dump file? I will upload it then.
