Just installed 7 64 bit on my acer 7720g and most things seem to be fine except I can't seem to find the drivers for the crystalbright screen. my videos still run & look ok but the picture has lost that certain something. Any help gratefully recieved.
There are no Windows 7 drivers for your machine at all. Not from the computer manufacturer anyway. If you do need device drivers, You'll need to get those manually from the device manufacturers web sites. Here's the link to Windows 7 supported Acer models. Windows® 7 Upgrade Offer
If you're unhappy with the screens appearance, try adjusting the settings for your video card.
Acer does supply Vista 64 bit drivers. Acer Support - Drivers & Download These can be installed using compatibility mode Vista. Tutorial for compatibility mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html I would try the chipset drivers, however it seems like the Crystal Bright function sounds more like an application controlled through your graphics card. You might wan to read through your manual about it.Listed under Document. Wish I could be of more help with this. Fabe
