Solved Acer laptop will not POST...

Hi people!
Well, seems that I'm running a weird issue... Today I tried to boot my laptop (specs on my sig) but I get no POST, energy seems ok, I've tried changing RAM sticks with no luck, and a trick I saw about taking out the battery holding the power button for 60 secs booting with AC cord only... No deal...

So, basically, I'm suspecting the worse (reballing VGA maybe)

Any tip or advice will be greatly appreciated guys

Are you getting any beep-codes? The BIOS will report general errors on POST by sounding beep tones. The number of beeps will be specific to a problem area. You'll need the code descriptions for your BIOS since they vary by OEM. This should be contained in the owner's manual.

Sometimes laptops indicate status by blinking an LED, too. Like the power indicator LED, for instance. It may not necessarily beep.

Weird enough, I get no beeps or sounds... It tries to boot, but POST never shows... (or more specifically, the acer logo at boot, since OEMs tend to hide that kind of stuff...)

Try removing everything removable: HDD, Optical Drive, RAM (all), battery. Then connect power supply and start - see if anything new occurs (beeping, blinking).

Then install 1 stick of RAM and try again. See if you can get POST and enter into BIOS settings that way.

Sorry for the late answer... I've tried all suggestions... But no avail... It doesn't boot or POST...
At least I could backup my stuff from my HDD, which is fine, as the RAM sticks...

I guess its time to take it with someone more competent than me in this regard... Maybe fixing a false with the VGA pins or reballing may bring it back to life... I hope...
