ACPI Windows update

i have win 7 64x ,i installed updates,before SP1,all are success, unless update for explorer 8,I think its because i update browswer to internet explorer 9,and main problem is acpi utility...this is main question,..why update didnt install acpi utility,how to see if its already in system?

I would advise you to get the ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 32&64-bit directly from Asus here; http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=M2N&p=1&s=24&os=8&hashedid=74PPQIiEejvuIiHv Look under utilities, you just need to type in your OS for some reason that bit is not working in the link.

is it ok just to install driver..as i did--...did i have to erase old one if there was one,....is there a way to see where the driver is located...is there a difference from driver from asus and microsoft....if it is ,is that why i dont see acpi update from windows as update succesfull!

Yes, as long as you get no more errors with Windows update.
No, the last two drivers are normally kept on your PC, in case of problems so you can just roll back to the old one.
Look in Device Manager under System Devices.
Not really. The Microsoft drivers are often older, the manufactures drivers are more fitted to your hardware.
You won't see update successful as Windows has not installed it. Then again you should not see it trying to install it again either.
