Acronis True Image - Tasks & Logs window
In Acronis True Image Home 2010, on the Tasks & Logs window, somehow I have got my Validate tasks above my Backup tasks. No amount of semi-random clicking will get them to swap back into a more intuitive order.
Any ideas?

That's the way mine does it too. I've looked through all the options and indeed there doesn't appear to be a way to change it. A Guy

Weird, I almost certain that it was the other way round when I first used it.
I might have a look around the Registry

I just checked mine and oddly,
Mine is showing Backups on top, Validates on bottom.
no clue why its showing like that, unless it has something to do with which was most recent or something.
Are you running the new version v7046?

Will check later. - Not near the Windows 7 PC at the moment, the version was installed by my supplier in April 2010.

Build version is 6053.
I've had a looked around the Registry but can't find anything there - I did find several parameters for the Unscheduled Tasks window though.
Just a thought: I always do an Image backup, followed by going into Recovery (not Rehab!) and Validating the backup. So the last activity is always a Validate. Perhaps, when I next open ATI, it puts the section with the most recent activity on top?
Sounds like a theory to me.

I believe Wishmaster has nailed it likely. Last thing I did was validate. Suspect if you make a backup, they will be on top. A Guy

Well,
I've done a few more partition image backups, followed by manually-requested validations and Backups are "Back on Top" - see the attachment.
PS - Sorting on the "last Run Time" is an alphanumeric sort, not a proper date sort.
