RST101 i agree with you in principle, morally it is wrong, unfortunately, if you were to challenge it, you would lose, the fact of the matter is, that these big companies have the lawmakers in their pockets, and things will not change any time soon,

of course with the advent of the digital britain report, soon we will all be assumed to be pirates until proved otherwise, and can have our internet access cut off if we're even suspected,

welcome to the birthplace of free speech and democracy....

news for you britian was not the birstplace for free speach and democracy, the good old u.s.a. was. nor are we acolony as some in this forum would suggest.

Most of these on the forums seem brain washed too, that's why it continues like it does.

You know where the browser close button is :p

*******************************************

It's quite simple really.

Downloading something you are meant to pay for is theft, no matter how many ways it can be rationalized to the contrary.

Do individuals have to like it? No.

Is the proposed method of enforcement fair? No.

Does the proposed punishment fit the crime? Far from it.

Is getting vexed in a forum thread that has zero impact on the outcome pointless? Yes.

According to the mentality here, I'm gonna pay 750$ for a software that I use rarely... Or upgrading my software that I use the most often to the version that I don't like while paying a 550$...

...yeah, right. If you have that money, good for you. But, not me.
