I created a program (on my win 7 32 bit) to change the settings for the action center. Works great! However, I tried to run it on a 64 bit win 7 machine and nothing works. What the hell is up with this?

How do I change the action center settings in the 64 bit version using the registry? I know the key location, but the settings of the keys does not work. Help.

Thanks
T.

The Action Center Settings. The flag that is display in the task tray. So far from what I have found on the web the action center settings are placed in the registry under HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\actioncenter
However, GOOD F>>ing luck on changing these because apparently these are set according to each individual machine. In other words, changing these on my machine will not work on your's and your's will not work on someone else's.

Great, not sure what to do now since I am trying to create an app that will set these for computer non-savy individuals.
