Activation error

I just recently installed ubuntu (linux) to my computer and i hated it so i re-installed windows........but when i typed in my activation code it bassically said it couldnt activate my windows because my serial number was only for updating not a fresh install.....what should i do? :devil2:

Hello Plays2, and welcome to Seven Forums.

With a upgrade copy of Windows 7, you would need to use one of the options in the tutorial below to do a clean install with it instead.
