Active Kill Disc advice needed

Hello
I am recommending Active Kill Disc to a friend who wants to clear her computer before donating to charity. Can she effectively run Active Kill Disc from the "Run" option after download? I don't think she would have any idea on how to change the boot order sequence and further create a bootable disc from which to run this program.

No.

Windows will not allow direct writing to the disk while it is running. Anyway, Active Kill Disk is not a Windows program. The only way it can run is from external bootable media.

Clearing out old computer before donating

Are there any programs that would effectively clean out a computer prior to donating to charity?
