Solved add a record file(WAV) in the current directory in win7

In windows 7, when I want to add a WAV file in the current directory to record the sound, I right click in the blank white area. But I find no related things in the subdirectory of "Add" . I think I can do this in "XP". How can I do this in windows 7?

Exactly what do you want to do? If you are adding a wav file then it has already been recorded?

The same operation to add new "docx" document or add new "txt" document by simply right click

Do you mean you have recorded a wav file and want to add it to a directory? Its still not clear what you want to do.

Not a problem, I only want to record things in any Directory. For example, I want to record my speech in "E:\**\". Then I just right click and ADD a new "wav". Then it pops up the "soundrecorder.exe" to record my voice. After I finish, I close the pop-up window and save it in the current directory.

That would involve adding an option to the RIGHT click menu. That is for a different forum section, not this section.

I think we are talking about 3 different things.

1. For recording your voice from a mic, you can use the Sound Recorder. That you find in All programs > Accessories.

2. When you finished the recording, you can store it in any folder (directory). This recording would be in .wma format.

3. If you need it in .wav format, you have to convert it with a file converter - e.g. Format Factory
