add oem through registry

i want to add oem through .reg file when installation comnpletes.so i builded that .reg oeminfo file and add this to setupcomplete.cmd but it is not adding that value to registry when setup completes. pls help me

i have windows 7 oem i want to add oem info to os when it is installed on a new system it self so i created a oeminfo.reg and added it's execution path to setupcomplete.cmd
but it is not updating the registry is there any other way

Was there any information written to the Setupact.log? and do you receive any error messages?

Try going to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion and see if you can change some values.

i know only add through directly i don't know how to add it to setup files and create iso

Well, what exactly are you trying to do.. simply changing the OEM info is simple however you seem to be bent on being able to do it through the registry .... Are you trying to mod an install DVD with your OEM info???

yes i want to mod an install dvd with my ownoem info.

You'd be best off to place that reg file on the install dvd, and then have it run the first time a user logs into the machine. The way that you are trying to get this to work is not a supported senario, as an oem would create one master image and then use sysprep to deploy it to many machines.
