add ons problem

Re: Windows & O/S. My problem with navigation continues. One example is: when I read an e-mail from one of you about an answer, it gives me a link which I click into and nothing happens. One thing I pursued was to go to IE and it tells me that the add ons are turned off but when I go to manage add ons, they are all enabled.

For some reason, I cannot find the original posts on this problem, so I put another thread in with a little different twist but it's the same problem. The last thing I got from anybody was about the McAfee uninstall and how I uninstalled it. I uninstalled it by going to the control panel and into the list of programs where I located the McAfee and uninstalled it. Note that after I did that which was quite a while ago, I didn't have any of the problems I'm having now. The problem that I'm having now came up in the last couple of days. Let me further expound on the problem I'm having by calling you attention to the last reply from you ThrashZone. Apparently you are trying to call my attention to the fact that my latest thread is the same as my first thread about this subject and you listed the title of my original thread on the matter which I clicked in to and all I got and have been getting in these circumstances, is a blank page.

I notice too, that when I click in a link there is a very quick blink that the cursor arrow has seeming like it tried to go but was stopped. Another suggestion that I picked up was to go to IE where it showed that the add ons are off and that could be a cause of the problem but when I checked the manage add ons place, it showed that all ad ons were enabled.

If McAfee wasn't removed with the on line removeal tool for McAfee then it wasn't removed properly and could still be a problem.
