How can you attach a regular video clip into a post?

Providing that it doesn't exceed 8.00MB when zipped, you should be able to send it as a zip type attachment.
Here is an example. It is one of the video files used by WinSAT to calculate your WEI score (although you never actually see it).

Alternatively, upload the video to YouTube. You can then attach the video in the normal way using the YouTube tags.
