Added a switch: Not visible in network map
Not really a big problem since all is working as it should but should I be able/not be able to see my DGS-2208 on my network map?
Currently it just shows my pc- d-link systems- internet
My router is dlink dir-655. Is just combing the switch and router into 1 icon?
Thoughts?

Try rebooting your machines a couple times, that usually will get the switch to show up. I have the same router and had to reboot twice to get my switch to show up.

I turn off my pc everyday so I have rebooted many times since Christmas (when I got the switch).
So the switch should be visible on my network map? Hmmmm :sarc:

Yes but I think that you need a machine attached to the switch and turned on in order to see it on the map. Or at least that is how it works for me.

a network switch won't show up on the network map, just your router will
