I am finally getting around to cleaning up my music files. I have transferred all my music from my Win XP system to Win 7 system. I now have all music in a single folder named music on my desktop. In the folder there are individual folders by artist name, in each of these folders are the songs by that artist.

In Win 2000 and XP I was able to right click on a song file and change all features of that file's information, including album artwork.

I have tried these same steps in Win 7 with no luck. I can change all text info the same way as before but I don't have the option to change or see the artwork.

How do I accomplish this in simple terms?

Thanks, Tom

You had to be using a program to do that. Windows XP and most certainly Windows 2000 have nothing built in other then Windows Media Player, but that doesn't work though Windows Explorer.

If you have the cover art in the same folder as the album, it will show in explorer when you have medium - extra large icon view set
