Is there a way to add to WMP version12 a folder containing two dozen sequenced MP3 audio files comprised of voice only. WMP seems to sort and categorize on the "title name" of each file instead of the "file name" which would keep them in ordered sequence?

I tried ripping these files off a CD which I created, but the "ripping" feature would not launch. When I tried moving the folder (containing the voice files) to the My Music folder, it spread the various voice files around to different genre's. Even when I put them on a playlist, they still find their way randomly distributed among various genre music titles. I can't get WMP to sort on file name instead of title name.

Is there a way to achieve this without converting the file to .cda, burning to a CD, then ripping them?
Thanx.

I had same problem what I did was rename each file by putting a letter in front of each eg anice dog bnice dog cnice dog then open folder go view sort by name they should then be sequential there's problly a much easier way but this worked for me the folder should then work in wmp in sequence hope this helps.
Bright Blessings

Seems like a tagging issue.

For each file, right click and edit the section you want to edit.

Move the track # to the front of the sort.
Edit the track # by right clicking and choose edit, in the order you wish them to be.

You can then Edit the Genre and Artist (Title) in the same manner, however you see fit. It will then be in order.

This works with audio, but should also work for what you're wanting to do as well.

I find Media Monkey to be much easier & thorough than WMP in tagging everything the way I want it though.

Will this help?
