[SOLVED] Adding Website to Taskbar

Does anyone know how I can create an icon on the taskbar that automatically opens up firefox and takes me to a particular webpage? Say for example, I wanted a Twitter icon on my taskbar that when clicked opened Firefox and took me straight to the Twitter website?

Spoke too soon. When I drag it to the taskbar, it just wants to pin it to Firefox's jump list. I can't actually get the icon to stick.

I tried removing the Firefox application from the taskbar and then trying, but doing so just adds the Firefox application back with the jump list addition.

Any other ideas?

I can add it by creating a link on the taskbar, but then it makes my taskbar look funky. Hmmm...must be some way to do this.

found solution!
Right-click taskbar - Toolbars - Links
This will enable Links in taskbar.
Set as many links as you wish.

Great solution Generator! Too bad it only works with Chrome. That leaves us Firefox users out in the cold unfortunately.

Yeah, I know that works dimaxx, but unfortunately, doing so makes the taskbar look wierd if you use larger icons for the links. I don't really want to use small icons.

Care to elaborate please? My example is for IE and it's confirmed in that thread to work with Firefox!
The only problem is once clicked, the active icons all stack together under the proper 'direct' browser link (as in the original link) as mentioned in the thread.

It'll work for any browser that accepts a command-line. ;)

Doh! Generator, you are the MAN!!! I must not have read past the solution using Google Chrome in the linked thread. Now I've got it working with Firefox and I couldn't be happier. May I rub your belly?
