Is there a way to verify that my Win 7 Upgrade contains the 64-Bit version also by browsing the install disc? (I downloaded the .ISO image from the Micorsoft Store, so I presume I bought and downloaded the full retail upgrade version which normally has both 32 and 64 bit)

Thanks again.

What size is the ISO?

My 64bit Pro upgrade ISO is 3.09GB

I'm not sure where I placed the original .ISO file. I'll have to look for it.

The CD I burned from it shows 2.38GB of used space.

That sounds like a 32bit ISO to me, are you trying to switch to 64bit?

When I bought mine in June, from Microsoft student discount it was one or the other (32bit or 64bit) not both.

Do you still have the email they sent you? With the product key and download link.

Mine says right on it 64bit upgrade ISO.

Yes, I do have the receipt with login info and product key. For what I paid, I would expect to have both. or at least the option to do another download .ISO of the 64bit version . . .

You can use 32- or 64-bit Win7 with each Win7 license. This is a provision of the EULA which cannot even be overridden by an OEM PC maker.

Works Great!

Thanks for the help. I did a clean 64-bit install using my purchased upgrade. Installed with no problems at all, although had to activate manually.
