Solved Administrator access denied

Is their a lock icon on your Users folder inside the C: drive ?

Cannot see the folder. Went into C:\ in "computer" to view from there and tried to read the drop down view, but, "Access Denied". Went into progams, and no "Windows" program, or, folder there.
I guess I'll just have to lose everything, and wipe the drive. Sure hate losing these four pictures of my mom, their all I've got. She died in 07.
Ok "Vista King", Looks like I am going to be using that clean install after all.

Well, Access Denied". Can't even get access to download the windows 7 software to a 4 gig USB drive. Can't wipe the drive. Looks like I am going to have to do a full system recovery, returning it to factory condition, with deleting all data first, then do the clean install. Lot's of time ahead.

Finally just did a full system restore. Just wanted to say "thank you" for all of your help and patience computers are our high blood pressure motivators.
