win7administratorproblejw8.jpg

As you can see above, there are 3 Administrator folders!

1. Administrator_ploc.WINDSTORY7 <- this is qhat I installed
2. Administrator_ploc <- I don't know who made this.
3. Administrator <- Now! I found this! Also I don;t know who made this.

Is this by Hacking?

Should I reinstall windows 7?

Hello windstory,

There is a hidden (not activated) True administrator account besides the account you created during installation. I'm just guessing (haven't seen that before), but the first may be this Admin. Account. More info here. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/507-built-administrator-account-enable-disable.html?filter[2]=User%20Accounts The second could be the Guest Acct. and the third is of course yours. Just a Guess.

Is your copy of 7 from microsoft or 'other'?

Gary

Windstory,

If you're not very aware of why this would be like this, you might just want to start over and reinstall if it's not that big of an inconvenience. You never know what has accessed what. And always have a major Antivirus program actively monitoring all the time. Do you...?

If you browse around, you will see it is a download from a Chinese site. Probably constructed from a pre installed image, which already had those accounts.
I,m pretty certain the two plocs could be deleted, but not so sure abot the Administrator.
I would create a new user account, log into it, and disable the Global Administrator account. then see what is going on.

I would check the .iso md5 hash against the original ms disc, if it don't match i would then be more worried and re-install.

Here are the checksums for the 7000 .iso:
Code:
CRC32: AABA5A48
MD5: F9DCE6EBD0A63930B44D8AE802B63825

Good luck windstory, let us know how it goes and if it's still the same after your clean install.
