Administrator Problem

Have a new personal ThinkPad with Windows 7. Tried to set up Normal.dot in Word and was directed to Documents and Settings, but found it had become hidden (I had seen it in a prior session). When I typed in the name, I was told it was available only to the Administrator - which of course is me. How can I overcome this problem?

Did u try right clik and 'Run as Administrator'?
