I've been running windows 7 with no problems for a couple of weeks now and just got around to reinstalling my Adobe suite. It installed with no trouble except for lacking a .dll for Acrobat but as I don't use that program much am not worried about that for now. When I tried to run Photoshop or any of the other programs in the suite, though, they didn't work. The furthest I got was entering the serial number after much fiddling. Then it just brings up an empty grey window for the program. Compatibility mode has failed me. Suggestions?

it most of the CS3 applications worked right away. Photoshop didn't. then i manually downloaded the updates from Adobe website and it worked. I also performed the automatic update for the entire suite (400+ MB! download). All of the suite programs seem to work fine. I haven't really used them except for Dreamweaver, though.

Let us know if it still causes problems after applying all updates. Maybe completely deinstall and install it again to be safe you didn't mess something up. I'm not sure what you mean by that missing dll.
