Adobe Flash Player choppy performance

I skimmed through some flash related threads but couldn't find answer to my issue.

I have no problem with flash video playback but performance, especially on larger flash apps (as in resolution), is very poor. I have a flash site, that I am working on at the moment, that plays perfectly smooth under Windows XP but gets choppy and slow in Windows 7. And I wasn't able to nail down the problem yet. I can't link to the flash file yet (well, I could since it is not in English anyway - but not at the moment) to show you what is the problematic flash but I noticed it happening in many Newgrounds.com flash games and movies as well. It either gets slow, choppy or both.

Did anyone get similar problem?
