Hello,
I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I want to switch to 64-bit IE, but I can't find a 64-bit release of Adobe Flash Player (even alpha or beta). Can you help me? Thanks. :)

There is no Flash support for x64 at this time, only for Linux i think, but Adobe is working on Flash for x64 browsers.

I just sent Adobe the following:

"Don't worry, I'll keep this as short and simple as possible. Question:

Is Adobe EVER going to release a 64-bit Flash version? I spent hard-earned money buying a very nice laptop with a 64-bit version of Windows because I know the advantages of that type of operating system.

I am beyond shocked your company is still lacking a critical piece of web software. Would you please explain to me your rationale for not supporting what is clearly going to become the most prevalent type of processor? Believe me when I say if Flash were not important now I would most certainly do without it. In fact, once an alternative even comes close to mainstream adoption I will join that movement.

You have already lost me with Reader due to comparable lack of concern for its security, just as your lack of concern for those of us who spend a majority of our time on the 'Net.

Trust me, your company is in imminent danger of losing a sizable base due to your obvious ambivalence.

I do not expect a response from you, because I expect you know I will quote you far and wide. Or does that not concern you either?"

One foot out the door,

Not really seeing the problem here...

If you have IE8 64-bit, you can not install the Flash player. However, if you install IE8 32-bit version you can easily install the Flash player and use it normally. Even more to the point, I've seen none of these install issues with FireFox.
