Solved Adobe Flash Player Storage Lost

For the longest time now, my adobe flash player has been losing the saved data every so often. I have tried both Mozilla Firefox and Chrome but every few hours my saved data gets deleted. I even tried setting the local storage to unlimited, however that gets reset as well. Nothing is saving and I have no idea how to fix it.
any advice?

What do you mean by saving? Video caching?

yea i don't know the 'technical' term to use. It's the roaming folders located in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player. I usually play flash games. my save games are saved in the roaming folder under the site name that im playing, however im constantly losing that data

1.) Did you check the flash management site and make sure everything looks good there in terms of storage? I know you said you made it unlimited local storage, but there are other settings found there.

2) Do you have a program or a setting in the browser that cleans out the cached data etc? This could be the reason.

my settings for flash appear alright, however the local storage setting keeps resetting itself. I do have adblock installed, ill try to remove it and see how that works out

disabling addons did not fix it. I just lost my data about an hour ago

Try uninstalling all adobe flash products from your computer, and then restart. Then go to adobes website and download flash again.

Adobe - Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player

You can download the latest flash for internet explorer as well as the plugin for firefox. Chrome has flash built in.

Also, you spoke of addons, but make sure the browser itself is not set to delete cache or history on close. Check your browsers settings.

the settings didn't get deleted on closing the browser or even when I restarted my computer. They got deleted randomly throughout the day.

I have gone ahead and switched to Internet Explorer and they seem to be saved now without any issues. So it looks like I'll probably be using Internet Explorer from now on.

Hmm, internet explorer is fine to use. Glad your problem is solved. You can uninstall firefox or any other browser then if you wish.
