adobe flashplayer

I have tried installing adobe flash player .but it wont install, I go to the website and click on downloads .
then install. untick MacAfee, then install, it gets to about 75% then asks me to close down I/e.
it tells me to go to task manager then processes then delete I/e but there are 5 so which one goes'.
when i click delete it says' I could lose data or I might upset my pc. so I am stuck can anyone Please help.
