Adobe Photoshop CS4 Won't start

hey every one i have a problem with my photoshop cs 4 when i run the setup.exe file it just doesn't open any help will be helpfull my system specs are


OS- Windows 7 64-bit ultimate
Procesor- inter core 2 duo T8100 2.10 Ghz
RAM- 4gb
GPU-nVIDIA 8600 512mb video ram

please help thank you for any thing.

You didn't disable the system pagefile did you? IIRC some of the Adobe products require a pagefile. Maybe just older ones, but I'm not sure.

its still doesnt work but it shows up in the task maneger

adobe installers are awful.

i had a problem because i had deleted my public folders.

maxjoker99, have you deleted yours?

if you mean the folders in Users/public/
than i didnt delete the folders

Contact Adobe. Unless you can't, in which case, you may have isolated the problem.

but the thing is that i can run it on xp and vista BUT NOT ON WIN7

if you run it from CD/DVD, try copy all files to folder on ur hdd and run setup.exe from there
that's how i did on my windows 7 x64

In other words, its a pirated, cracked version, so Im not surprised that you are having problems... Learn to use GIMP .. its free and works just fine for most needs ... I used GIMP to make my SIG...

Some how I dont see someone paying this kind of money for a program that wont run on his system, and not return it for a refund...Draw your own conclusions...
