Ok so here is my thing, I am new to virtual machines but I am wondering if this is possible. Ok, I have read alot of people saying no it cant be done but heres my thoughts.
I read this, Less Virtual, More Machine - Windows 7 and the magic of Boot to VHD - Scott Hanselman
And was thinking if you can mount a VHD and boot to it then maybe you can boot to a VMDK, I have read up on this Hyper V but dont really get what it is.
So im wondering is there now someway to add your VMDK or virtual machine to your boot list (msconfig).
Also I read this, Creating, Attaching, and Mounting VHD Files in Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2
This leads me to believe that I can run my OS as a VHD. (P.S.) Thoughts?
